Biography
I am a Professor at Nanjing University and the Principal Investigator of the Gravitational Cosmology Research Group. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2006) and my Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Fudan University (2011). Following my doctoral studies, I spent seven years in Europe conducting research: first as a postdoctoral researcher at the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF) (2011–2015), and later as an International Junior Research Fellow at the Institute for Computational Cosmology (ICC), Durham University (2015–2018). In December 2018, I joined Nanjing University under the "Dengfeng" Talent Development Program (Category B) and was promoted to Full Professor in 2024. My research focuses on the frontiers of gravitational cosmology, specifically the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) and the formation of large-scale structures (LSS). I was an active member of major international collaborations, including the European Space Agency’s Euclid satellite mission and the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) project.
I have published 25 papers as first or corresponding author in prestigious journals, including Nature Physics (1), Nature Astronomy (2, including a cover article), and Physical Review Letters (3). My work has garnered over 1,100 citations according to INSPIRE-HEP. Beyond research, I serve as an expert reviewer for the European Research Council (ERC) and a long-term reviewer for top-tier journals such as PRL, PRD, MNRAS, and JCAP. I am currently leading multiple National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) programs and serves as a sub-group leader for the China Space Station Telescope (CSST) project.
